The Common Defense 

We are not content to stand by as another report gathers dust or another conference concludes without tangible outcomes. Our mission is to move beyond conversation to action, leveraging our ability to engage in advocacy and drive real change for our national security. 

The Common Defense has been incorporated under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.

It will engage in a variety of activities consistent with its tax-exempt status.

Contributions to The Common Defense are not tax deductible as charitable contributions and are allocated entirely for activities that are non-deductible business expenses. The Common Defense does not solicit or accept earmarked funds for political activity. Donations received by The Common Defense will be used at the discretion of the organization’s officers and directors to fund all of its activities to best promote the organization's agenda. Donors should consult their tax advisors about the tax treatment of their contributions.

 

By donating, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and am making this contribution with my own personal funds – not those of another person or entity – and that I am not a foreign national.

501(c)(4) organizations may accept unlimited corporate and personal donations.
